Just to start this topic. I don't know that much about the history of the Matra-racing but I selected some pics over the internet to give an impression of the old days. Maybe someone can try to write a story about the races.

In 1969 Matra came with the MS650. A great looking car equiped with a Ford 4,7L V8. It could accomodate two persons.

A few results with the 650-01:

24 hours of Le Mans '69, Beltoise/Courage 4th place; 6 hours of Watkins Glenn '69, Servoz-Gavin/Rodriquez 4th place; Watkins Glenn Can AM, Servoz-Gavin 8th place; 1000km of Paris, Beltoise/Pescarolo 1st place; 12 hours of Sebring, Servoz-Gavin/Pescarolo 5th place
